We highly recommend paying the remaining balance in cash upon arrival, as it is the most convenient and cost-effective option for both you and the academy. Refund Policy – Satvik Yogshala
At Satvik Yogshala, we understand that plans may change. To maintain transparency and ensure smooth course management, we have established the following refund policy for all our yoga teacher training courses and retreats.
Booking & Advance Payment
To confirm your seat in any course, a non-refundable advance deposit is required. This deposit secures your booking and allows us to prepare accommodation, meals, and course arrangements in advance.

Cancellation Policy
Non-Refundable Deposit
The advance booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances. However, it can be transferred to another course date as per the rescheduling policy.
Cancellation by Student
- If you cancel your booking 30 days or more before the course start date, the remaining balance (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.
- If you cancel within 15–30 days, 50% of the total course fee (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.
- If you cancel less than 15 days before the course, no refund will be provided.
Rescheduling Policy
Students can reschedule their course to a future date within 12 months of the original booking, subject to availability.
- Rescheduling must be requested at least 15 days before the course start date.
- The deposit amount will be adjusted toward the new course.
- Only one rescheduling request is allowed per booking.
No Show / Early Departure
- In case of a no show (student does not arrive for the course), no refund will be provided.
- If a student decides to leave the course after it has started, no refund will be issued for unused days or missed classes.
Cancellation by Satvik Yogshala
In the rare event that Satvik Yogshala needs to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances (such as natural events, low enrollment, or other unavoidable situations):
- Students will be offered an option to transfer to another available date, or
- Receive a full refund of the amount paid (including deposit)
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days. Any bank charges or transaction fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun Airport) in Dehradun, approximately 20–25 km from Rishikesh. From the airport, you can take a taxi directly to the school.
By Train
The nearest railway station is Haridwar Railway Station in Haridwar, about 25 km away. Taxis and buses are easily available from Haridwar to Rishikesh.
By Road
Rishikesh is well connected by road to major cities like Delhi. You can take a bus or taxi from Delhi (approximately 5–6 hours’ drive).
